Started in 2024 the Kalavaahini Scholarship initiative recognises an important phase in the creative growth of a dancer. The Scholarship will be awarded every year to two Dance Immersion Program participants who wish to venture into the space of choreography and show promise, curiosity and commitment with a serious interest to learn further. Structured as a limited series of one-on-one sessions with Dancer – Choreographer and Mentor Malavika Sarukkai, the sessions are designed to be intense and rigorous.
